LIBERTY is an 11-year-old white Pomeranian who weighs just 4 pounds, 10 ounces. She came to us as an owner surrender. Her best match is a calm home with a fenced yard and no big dogs or kids. A small dog friend would be ideal but is not required. LIBERTY is an incredibly sweet little girl who loves being close to her person and is happiest curled up in your lap. She also enjoys rolling over for tummy rubs, and with her adorable little tongue peeking out because she has no teeth, she is impossible not to fall in love with. She loves to follow her person everywhere and wants to be part of whatever you're doing. LIBERTY gets along well with the other small dogs in her foster home and enjoys the company of the foster's two Pomeranians. She would do well with another gentle dog but would also be happy soaking up all of the attention from her people. Because of her age and size she is not suitable for a home with kids or big dogs. Potty training still needs work, but she is making great progress. She isn't very comfortable on a leash yet and she does have a cataract in her one eye so she will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore. At night, LIBERTY sleeps soundly in a dog bed in the kitchen alongside her foster's male Pomeranian. But we are certain she would love to curl up with her family if she had the opportunity! LIBERTY is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
