About Luna

Hello!! My name is Luna and I am about 2 years old, although I was found as a stray/dump so my exact details are unknown! I have such a strong will to live and play, and this unfortunately led to me tearing my ACL one normal day at the rescue. I am awaiting surgery/ care at the shelter but this is a long, and difficult process as it is a nonprofit and the surgery is a bit pricey. I am really hopeful I can find a very special family who will not only adopt me, but be willing to go through with the surgery and recovery process afterwards. I have so much spunk, and such a sassy, fun personality, I really want to be able to have this surgery and be able to live out the many years I have left of my life. I am super healthy otherwise and weigh about 70 lbs as I have been on bed rest and have gained a few lbs! I am the sweetest little girl and absolutely LOVE to play with others. I am gentle and have a super kind heart, I get along seamlessly with other animals and people, especially kiddos! I need some work with potty training but I am super smart and it doesn't take me long to learn new things or settle into a routine. I love to go for car rides, and I adore going out on walks! I adapted to the routine of the rescue fast and it doesn't take me long to adapt to change. I absolutely love to play in the water mostly just laying in it to cool off, but the pool is one of my favorite places to be. Overall I have a very goofy and fun personality and I would absolutely love to meet you and show you how much potential I truly have! I hope you will consider coming to meet me and possibly even giving me my well deserved second chance! This surgery is VERY important and will determine how the rest of my life goes, please find it in your heart to come save me!
