About Stellan

Some dogs spend their first year learning what it means to be loved. Others spend it waiting. Stellan is a handsome one-year-old Labradoodle who was confiscated from an unlicensed breeder before his future was decided for him. Had he stayed, his life may have been spent in a kennel, valued only for what he could produce instead of who he is. Thankfully, fate had other plans. While the legal case was underway, he was welcomed into a loving foster home, where, for the first time, he discovered the simple joys every dog deserves-a warm bed, gentle hands, belly rubs, playtime, and a family who adored him. He learned to be house-trained, mastered life in a home, and quickly became best friends with the children and other dogs in the home. It turns out all he ever needed was a chance. Today, he's a happy, affectionate, mild-mannered young boy who loves everyone he meets. He's wonderful with children, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has the sweet, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. Like many Labradoodles, he is low-shedding, making him an excellent companion for many families. He has left his past behind. Now he's simply looking for the one thing every dog deserves-a family to call his own. He's only one year old, with his whole life ahead of him.
