About Sugar

Meet Sugar! Sugar is an 8-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing around 70 pounds, and she's as sweet as her name suggests. This beautiful girl has settled into foster life wonderfully and is enjoying the comforts of a home, a predictable routine, and plenty of fluffy friends to keep her company. Sugar has quickly adapted to family life and no longer needs to be kenneled at night or when her foster family is away. She's learned the household routine and has shown just how well-mannered and trustworthy she can be. Like any good Pyr lady, Sugar isn't afraid to share her opinions. When she first arrived, she occasionally gave Smoke and Rusty a few grumbly reminders about how things should be done. Think less 'guard dog' and more 'bossy wife supervising her husband from across the room.' Thankfully, everyone has worked things out, and the whole crew is getting along beautifully these days. Sugar has also joined the neighborhood watch program under the guidance of resident Pyr expert Piper. She enjoys patrolling the backyard with her fluffy companions, and watching all that floof bounce across the yard together is enough to brighten anyone's day. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who has left the puppy antics behind but still enjoys life's simple pleasures, Sugar could be the perfect addition to your family.
