About Barnaby

This sweet 10-year-old Miniature Schnauzer is the kind of dog who quietly makes himself at home, melts into your routine, and somehow makes every day a little bit better. Barnaby may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for his gentle personality to shine. Before you know it, he'll be nudging your hand with his paw, politely asking for another head scratch (and another...and maybe one more). He's independent enough to happily relax on his own, but if you've disappeared into another room for too long, he'll quietly come looking for his favorite person. This handsome little gentleman is house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is wonderful in his crate. He has no separation anxiety and is happiest spending the day snoozing nearby, making him the perfect work-from-home companion or easygoing office co-worker. He's calm, quiet, and content simply being close to you. While Barnaby is mostly a laid-back observer, every so often he gets a burst of excitement and shows off the cutest little zoomies-even if he's still figuring out exactly how to 'play.' He also enjoys soaking up the sunshine whenever he gets the chance and has the softest fur you've ever felt, complete with the most adorable little 'Shrek ears' that give him endless character. Barnaby is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and recently had a much-needed dental cleaning, so he's feeling like a brand-new man. He gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy addition to almost any home.
