About Theodore

Theodore has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. After being hit by a car, this resilient little Miniature Poodle underwent surgery to repair his leg, and he's expected to make a full recovery. Through it all, he's never lost his gentle spirit or his trust in people-and now he's ready to find the loving family he's been waiting for. At just 3 years old, Theodore is the perfect blend of playful and peaceful. He's sweet, friendly, and incredibly loyal, forming strong bonds with the people he loves. Whether you're heading out for a drive, taking a stroll through the neighborhood, or spending a quiet evening at home, Theodore is happiest simply being by your side. He's house-trained, crate-trained, walks beautifully on leash, rides calmly in the car, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids. Theodore is also a smart little guy who has picked up basic commands quickly and enjoys learning new things. He's eager to please and thrives with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. Like many dogs who have been through big life changes, Theodore does experience some separation anxiety, so he'll do best with an adopter who is willing to continue helping him build confidence when home alone. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, he's already shown just how adaptable and resilient he can be. Theodore's easygoing personality makes him a joy to have around.
