Known for being highly social, 'dog-like,' and extremely vocal, these cats typically form deep attachments to their owners and often follow them around the house. Sadly, Pandora has some trust issues and she will need a patient and loving human to work with her. She has been failed twice by her owners, which is why we will be requiring a very quiet and calm home for her. We took Pandora into our rescue in 2023 after her original owners abandoned her. As a rescue, we thought we had done our due diligence when we adopted her out to a couple that same year. In June 2026, we received a message from her 'adopters' stating that they wanted to 'get rid of her' and their other two cats. We gladly accepted Pandora back into our rescue. �'ۢ No automatic litterbox - she's terrified of them �'ۢ No kittens �'ۢ No dogs �'ۢ Would be okay as an only cat �'ۢ Needs human attention to gain her trust again �'ۢ Betrayed twice by 2 different owners �'ۢ Was not touched by her former owners; no pets, no love �'ۢ Needs a calm and loving environment �'ۢ May have been abused, but not confirmed! Pandora needs a loving forever home where she will receive tons of love and will learn to trust humans again. We know this sounds like a daunting mountain to climb, but we've seen improvement already with her interactions with her foster, so we know that she has the ability to learn to love and trust again. We are insisting that she remain an INDOOR only cat. No exceptions! Pandora is located in Riverside where meet and greets will take place.
