About Buster

Buster is an adorable 7-month-old, 9-pound long-haired Chihuahua mix, possibly with a little Pekingese, and he has the cutest fluffy face, expressive eyes, and an irresistible little personality. This sweet boy was surrendered through no fault of his own after his family's living circumstances changed and they were no longer able to keep him. Now, Buster is searching for a forever home where he'll always be a priority and loved for the rest of his life. Like many young dogs experiencing a big life change, Buster can be a little shy when meeting new people. Give him a little time, patience, and reassurance, and you'll quickly discover what a loving companion he truly is. Once he trusts you, he wants nothing more than to be by your side. At just 9 pounds, Buster is the perfect little lap dog and is small enough to tag along on all of life's adventures. He loves car rides and would happily accompany you around town tucked safely into a tote bag while soaking up all the attention. Buster gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a wonderful companion for a variety of homes. Although he previously lived with children, we believe he would adjust best in a calm, adult-only home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue building his confidence. He would make the perfect companion for a single person or a couple looking for a loyal best friend to share everyday life with. Buster has been fully vetted and is up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm and Lyme tested, and neutered. He is healthy, happy, and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a family that will give him the love, stability, and commitment he deserves. Buster is looking for either a committed adopter ready to give him his forever home or a family interested in our foster-to-adopt program. Our goal is to find him a home where he'll always be cherished and never have to wonder where he belongs again.
