About DJ

DJ is one of 8 puppies born on April 10, 2025. Mother was rescued off the streets and a couple weeks later she gave birth to 8 puppies, 4 girls and 4 boys. Working on listing the remaining siblings here on Rescue Me. The four females are very close to the same size with DJ being slightly smaller than the other three. She is a very loving dog, gets along with all other dogs and cats she has been around and would make a great family dog as long as she has a good sized yard to romp and play in. She is crate trained and is good when in the house. When the puppies were 2 months old and looking for their forever homes the over population explosion of Great Pyrenees had just begun and there were Great Pyrenees of all ages available for adoption everywhere, not to mention the ones in shelters everywhere. I did get quite a few inquiries from out of state, but nothing ever came from them. I also mailed pictures of them to goat and sheep farms within 100 miles from me but most of them came back as 'undeliverable as addressed'! Due to some family circumstances and deaths that occurred over the last year I have not pursued adoptions as I should have but physically and mentally, I just was not able to. I am not asking for an adoption fee but am requesting a $100.00 deposit which will be returned upon receipt of proof of spay or neuter. The only other thing I am asking is that if for any reason in the future you are unable to keep her, you contact me and I will take her back.
