About Lucky

Lucky - 17 year-old 16.1hh TB gelding- lightly rideable W/T/C English/Western or companion horse. Lucky is looking for the perfect companion-focused home where he can continue to enjoy a lighter, laid-back lifestyle. While he is still lightly rideable and happily goes both English and Western at the walk, trot, and canter, his ideal situation would be mainly a companion/pasture pet. Under saddle, Lucky has an excellent work ethic and is more of a kick ride with no bolt, buck, or rear. He does best with an experienced, confident rider who understands his personality. Lucky tends to bond closely with his person and thrives in a quiet, consistent program where less is more. He is happiest when allowed to simply just be a horse and is not one that enjoys being fussed over. He does best living outside with 24/7 turnout. Lucky requires front shoes for comfort and is maintained on Equioxx for mild arthritic changes related to age and his previous racing career. Former owner is happy to provide full veterinary records and medical history. Lucky comes with his bridle and blankets. Asking $100 donation to an approved home with contract with a minimum 60 day trial period. Adopter must be located within a two (2) hour drive of Wall, NJ.
