My Adoption Fee is Now FULLY SPONSORED thanks to a generous donor! Please read until the end: Hi there! My name is Lucy! I landed in a county shelter with an injured leg. Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue pulled me into their rescue and sent me straight to the vet. My rescue was ready and willing to do whatever was needed to heal me. The orthopedic surgeon did a thorough evaluation and surprisingly recommended that surgery not be performed due to this being an older injury and based on how it had already set. So my leg looks quite unique, but it does not bother me or slow me down at all! I don't feel any different than any other dog at the rescue and just need a forever family that loves me for the joyful girl that I am and can look past my differences. I am a very friendly, very energetic shepherd mix dog estimated to be around 1-1/2yrs old. I do know how to walk on leash but love running free in the yard better. I am very social with humans and love other dogs- but sometimes, my energy level isn't appreciated by other dogs�'�|so let's do a meet and greet first! My $150 adoption fee is now fully sponsored by an anonymous donor and includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip.
