About Sanibel-Friendly Girl!

Hello- my name is Sanibel! I was rescued from a breeding facility for laboratories where I was kept in a cage. I am just now learning what being a dog is supposed to be all about. I have really come out of my shell at the rescue - a friendly, sweet girl! I may be a little shy when first meeting you, but I tend to come around rather quickly. Another social/friendly dog in the home would be great, but not required. I am estimated to be 2-3yrs old and weigh about 25lbs. I will need help with potty and leash training. The dog trainer here says I need to 'learn to dog'- it is just going to take time and someone willing to be patient while I continue to learn. My $550 adoption fee includes vet exam, bloodwork, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip.
