About Scout

My name is Scout! My mama is the most beautiful Penny Lane, who is also in the rescue. Our Dad- we are pretty convinced he had some Collie or Aussie in him and maybe some Lab. I am about 16 weeks and about 25 lbs. The expectation is for me to grow to be about 45 to 55 lbs. I am such a fun, sweet and thoughtful boy. I win over everyone I meet. I am a little shy at first but endearing and very treat motivated! I am great with other dogs and love to romp and play. I have that floppy puppy run down pat! I LOVE toys and chew antlers, and squeak the squeaky toys. I sleep through the night and go right in my crate without protest. I would do great with a person who would appreciate my intelligence and absolute devotion to my humans. Within a few hours of gentle pets and treats, I will be next to you on the couch. I absolutely love other dogs. I live with three big adult females and I think I am in heaven! I would do great with an older confident dog that would play with me and show me the ropes. I can keep up with those adults, no problem. I really enjoy my walks and walking through sprinklers doesn't bother me one bit. I also get a kick out of fetch. I have mastered some events with the rescue - puppy yoga and meet and greets and even a brewery! I am a perfectly well behaved little gentleman. I would love a family that can provide patience, activity and lots of positive reinforcement as I learn the way of the world! I am located in NJ!
