About Gracie Mae

Meet Gracie Mae! �%9D%A4��%8F Gracie Mae is an 8-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 8 pounds. This tiny girl came to Texas Star Rescue alongside several of her canine housemates after they were surrendered to a high-intake rural shelter when their owner could no longer care for them. While we don't know much about Gracie Mae's past, it's easy to see that she was loved. She has settled into rescue life nicely and enjoys the comforts of a soft bed and a quiet place to relax. Gracie Mae is a sweet, gentle soul who has been friendly with the adults she has met since coming into our care. She prefers a calmer lifestyle and would love a family that appreciates the special companionship that senior dogs have to offer. Although we never guarantee any dog is fully house-trained, Gracie Mae has done very well indoors while with us. Senior dogs are often overlooked, but they have so much love left to give. Gracie Mae is hoping her forever family sees just how special she is.
