About Olive

Olive was only five months old, but she had already lived enough life for a much older dog. Four homes in such a short time - four sets of hands, four different living rooms, four places where she tried her best to belong. She wasn't a difficult pup. Every time she arrived somewhere new, she would tiptoe through the doorway, tail tucked but hopeful, waiting for someone to show her what 'home' meant. In her first home, she was adored - for a week. Then life got busy, and Olive became an afterthought. In her second home, she was a gift for a child who wasn't ready for the responsibility. In her third home, she was sweet, but the resident dog wasn't. And in her fourth home, they loved her�'�| but couldn't keep her. So Olive arrived at rescue with a tiny bag of toys and a heart full of confusion. Now Olive waits for the home that will finally be hers - not for a week, not for a month, but forever. She's ready to give her whole heart to someone who will treasure her soft spirit, her brave little attempts at trust, and her goofy puppy wiggles. Olive's story isn't about being passed around.
