About Rufous

Rufous is ready for adventure! As a herding breed, he will do best in an active home-think hiking/running partner or dogsports. That said, he is easy to live with; mostly he wants to be where people are, will lie down and entertain himself with a chew, and loves playing with other dogs. He is good around cats and even my pet yard chicken. Now about 30 ish lbs, he will mature at 40-50 lbs at maturity. He is currently six months old. He working on his initial vaccines and deworming, crate training and learning all about this big world. It's a little intimidating at times, but he's a brave guy and will follow you wherever. His entire litter is also seeking new homes; there are 3 males and 3 females, so if you're looking for a girl, or a dog with more flashy white markings, there are some of those too!
