About Yume (in Foster)

Yume is a 5-year-old, 60-pound spayed shepherd mix with a playful personality. She enjoys running, playing fetch, and spending time with her people. She's both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy companion in the home. Yume can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but with patience and kindness, her sweet and silly personality quickly shines through. Yume has successfully lived with another dog, but she can be selective with canine companions and has a history of resource guarding around unfamiliar dogs. She would likely do best as an only dog or with an experienced adopter. She is not a good fit for a home with cats. If you're looking for a loyal, active companion who loves to play and is ready to form a strong bond, Yume may be the perfect match.
