About Brie

Brie is an 8-year-old long-haired cat with a very gentle, affectionate personality once she feels comfortable. She tends to be a bit shy at first, but when she warms up to someone she becomes very loving and enjoys being close-often settling in as a lap cat for cuddles and companionship. She has a soft, playful side too and enjoys eating, relaxing, and spending time with her people in a calm environment. Because of her long coat, she does need regular grooming to stay comfortable, and she can be sensitive about handling, especially when it comes to things like nail trims. In those cases, she does better having that done at the vet. Brie generally does well with other pets, but she would likely thrive most in a quieter home where she can settle in at her own pace and be the main focus of attention.
