About Falafel

I'm Falafel. And yes, my name is as good as you think it is. I'm a 4-year-old neutered pocket pittie with one mission in life: be as close to my people as possible. Seriously. If you're sitting, I'll be next to you. If you're standing, I'll be next to you. If you're handing out belly rubs, I'll be first in line. People meet me and fall for me fast. It might be the sleepy tail thumps. It might be my sweet face. It might be the way I look at people like they've been my best friend for years. Whatever it is, it works. I'm the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much. A little love. A few belly rubs. Maybe a cozy place to nap. Okay, a lot of belly rubs. Recently I discovered nosework, and let me tell you, I am very talented. The humans introduced me to the game and I figured it out almost immediately. Finding treats hidden in boxes? Best day ever. I didn't even want to stop. Turns out this little pocket pittie has a pretty big brain hiding in there. Everyone talks about how sweet I am, but I'm smart too. I love learning, I love using my nose, and I love spending time with people who want to hang out with me. Right now I'm recovering from heartworm treatment and looking forward to the next chapter of my life. A chapter with soft beds, good snacks, fun adventures, and humans who appreciate a dog whose favorite hobby is loving them. The truth is, I'm pretty easy to love. I'm cute. I'm cuddly. I'm clever.
