This pretty gal is Talia. She is 3 years old a Kelpie / Herding breed mix who weighs about 42 pounds. Talia is a sweet, thoughtful girl who is learning quickly. She knows sit, touch (like hold out palm and get nose touch), and is learning to give a high 5. She is also house trained. Talia is a kind girl who starts shy with new people but does want to get to know you. She has been to work with her foster mom and appreciates people who give her a moment to greet. She hasn't met any kids yet but we think she would be fine in a home with older kids. Talia is nice with other dogs and has started to play a bit with the female dog in her foster home. Click on the red YouTube button to see her playing. She does also live with cats. If a cat is very dog savvy and stands its ground, she is fine. If a cat runs, she will chase. Talia is showing signs of being a playful girl. She likes to gently wrestle and play with toys with her foster mom. She will fetch a toy a little bit, but we aren't sure she will fetch more than a few times. She seems to like to engage more in play with her person. Talis is good on leash and likes to take walks. She is also good in the car, so should be a nice adventure pal. Talia is ready for a kind and active home that doesn't mind starting slow. Her foster mom takes her out in neighborhoods, on car rides, and to work. Talia is seeing how fun it is to be a dog, and this girl is totally worth it. She's playful and clever. She learns quickly. She has a very fun personality that is coming out more each day. She will come and put a paw on you for pets, or will shove her head under your hand so it goes up to pet her, and loves the belly rubs. She likes to put her paws on you when we're going outside, not annoyingly she'll just run to the yard, then run back for a touch, then go back and do the sniffs. She has a great smile and is quickly becoming a very good girl. Talia is spayed, microchipped, started on puppy vaccines. She is located in Southern CA, and is ready to meet adopters who are able to come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
