Zeus needs to live on a farm or with a family with a lot of land so he can roam to his hearts content. We live in a neighborhood where the homes are very close together and the barking is causing issues with our neighbors. He is very protective of the fence line and our front door. If you want him to come inside you have to leash him. He doesn't really come when called because he's a Great Pyrenees. He is a sweet boy but wants to do his own thing. Must have a lot of land that's fenced for him. He has been around chickens and other animals and does fine with them. Would be great if you had an existing animal in the home. Great guard dog for your property. If we had a lot of land we would keep him. The barking is just out of control for us unfortunately. We have boarded him many times at a local vet and he gets along well with all of the animals up there. Very potty trained, gets in his kennel when he is ready for food. We kennel him when going to the store but has done fine when left out of the kennel as well.
