About Snowy

Snowie was taken in as a foster from a horrendous hoarding situation 3 years ago. She lived in a house with 60 other dogs. No socialization, she was full of parasites and underweight. Snowie was terrified of people. After several month of patience and quiet work with her, Snowie became a much more confident and happy little dog. While she might never make a 'good pet' as she was not cuddly and preferred to be touched as little as possible, she was a happy little dog. I found her what I considered to be a perfect home. Snowie lived there happily for the last 2 years. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of her control, Snowie lost her home and ended up in Animal Control, where she lived in a crate for 11 weeks until I was able to bring her back to my house. Snowie is still scared of people in general, but she follows me and wants to be with me; she seems desperate to find her own person. ***Snowie has been bathed and groomed. ***She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. ***Almost 4 yrs old Snowie now bounces with excitement at meals time, and runs and plays with my dogs. I am planning to travel up to Canada and across to the west coast and I need safe home for this little dog. No young children, a fenced yard and patience are the main requirements. I am willing to bring her to you if you are the right home for her.
