Hank-Boxer/Lab Male, ~ 5 yr. (June 2026) Contact [email protected] for an application. Hank came to Rescue when the Head Trainer at a Prison Training Program found him in a kill Shelter. His prior owner had abandon him there and his life was in grave danger. Hank impressed the Trainer with his personality and loving nature. So she said, ''come on Hank...you are out of here' and she took him to the Training Program. He's been doing great!! He has learned housetraining, crate training and basic obedience. He gets along well with the other dogs in the Program. We do not know for sure on cats or children, as he's not exposed to them at the Prison. But will find this out when he is done at the Program. The trainer describes him as a 'good ol' boy', laid back and happy. Hank is about 55#, a solid fella. He will enjoy a fairly active life, but not high, high energy. Hank's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
