URGENT: Ghost Needs a Foster or Foster-to-Adopt Home Before He Can Begin Training Ghost has been given an incredible opportunity to attend a professional board-and-train program, but there has been an important change. His trainer has recommended that Ghost first have a foster or foster-to-adopt home in place before training begins. The goal is for Ghost to return directly to that same home after completing his training so he can continue practicing everything he has learned. Returning to a kennel after training would make it much harder for him to retain his new skills. Right now, the only thing standing between Ghost and this life-changing opportunity is a foster home. Ghost is a wonderful dog who simply wants to be with his people. He is affectionate, intelligent, eager to learn, and loves spending time with his human. He enjoys long walks, adventures, playing, and being included in everyday life. He is: House trained Dog-door trained Treat motivated Knows commands including sit, wait, and kennel Smart and eager to please Ghost would thrive with an active person or family willing to continue the foundation his trainer will provide. He needs a home without cats due to his prey drive. Because of his enthusiastic personality, he would do best with older children. He may also do well with a playful canine companion after a proper introduction. Ghost is currently living in a boarding kennel while he waits for someone to give him a chance. He deserves more than life behind kennel walls. He deserves a home, a soft bed, and a person to call his own.
