About Dill

Dill is a 5-year-old German Shepherd - Lab mix. He has resided in a loving family of 3 children (13, 8, & 5) and 2 parents in Mtn. Brook, Alabama since the fall of 2021. He is crate-trained, goes on long walks and short runs, and loves to be with his people. We adopted Dill at 6-months-old from a well-known adoption agency in Alabama. He was born with a litter of brothers and sisters, all of whom were named after characters in To Kill a Mockingbird. Dill is precious--kind with our children, attentive and in-tune with us (his parents). He is smart and obedient, responding appropriately to commands to place, stay, sit, fetch/retrieve and comes. Dill can be anxious and needs support when meeting new people. Once he knows people, however, he is friendly. Unfortunately, due to our family's needs and upcoming move, we are not able to give him the life and support that he deserves. We'd love to find a loving home for him.
