LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola, FL Meet CHARM! CHARM is an adorable Chihuahua mix puppy born on April 22nd. She will be ready to go home on June 26th. Her mom, TRINKET, weighs 16 pounds. We do not know who her dad is. CHARM is a beautiful gray puppy with striking blue eyes and a very unique look. She is sweet, loving, and affectionate. She enjoys playing with her siblings, gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, and loves being part of the action. She is always happy to greet visitors and enjoys giving kisses. CHARM loves wrestling with her siblings, chasing toys, and playing with small plush toys and toys that crinkle or make noise. She also enjoys spending time with older children and is curious about everything going on around her. As expected for a puppy her age, CHARM is not housebroken. She is working on pad training and making progress, although she still occasionally thinks puppy pads are fun to shred. She is curious, playful, and will need close supervision as she explores her world. Like most puppies, she will happily chew on things she shouldn't if given the opportunity. When her foster family is away, CHARM stays in a puppy pen and does well. She is curious about the larger dogs in the home and often watches for them at the back door. She has already learned how to navigate the two steps to the couch and grows more adventurous every day. CHARM recently spent her first night sleeping in the big bed with her foster family and did very well. She used the puppy pads placed in the bedroom and continues learning household routines. CHARM is already microchipped and will have had two sets of puppy vaccines before going home. She will need a third set in about three weeks. The rescue will handle her third puppy vaccine, spay, and rabies vaccine when she is old enough, all of which are covered by the adoption fee. Because she is not fully vaccinated, CHARM cannot go outside until after her third puppy vaccine to keep her safe from parvo. Like all young puppies, she will need a family committed to continued training, socialization, supervision, and all of the time and patience that come with raising a puppy. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
