HELP!!! X URGENT- Riverside County Shelter, San Jacinto location, So Cal - ID #A1923637 'MISS KAI'- SWEET SUPER YOUNGER CHOW GIRL- PEOPLE AND DOG FRIENDLY in playgroup AT GREAT RISK IN HIGH KILL SHELTER, now AVAILABLE TO ADOPT, BUT SHELTER IS OVERFULL and EUTHANIZING ADOPTABLE DOGS AND GIVES LITTLE TIME. WE ARE THEREFORE ALSO DESPERATELY LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND RESCUE TO SAVE HER LIFE. RESCUES NEED FOSTERS TO HELP! DEAR KAI was found as a stray, but her owner never came and the shelter just reached out to us to help . Fondly named Kai, she is said to be only 3 years young and weighs 45 lbs., so she is perfectly sized. The shelter tells us: '06/26/2026: Upon approach dog is at front of kennel seeking attention from handler. Currently kenneled alone. 06/27/26: 09:42 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog provided appropriate greetings and engaged in play.' Kai can be seen in videos the shelter provided. Kai is expected to become very urgent in this very full shelter as she has met legal been retention. Because the shelter is so full, though, she may have little time to be adopted or rescued before she is added to the euthanasia list without warning. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting sweet Kai, please contact the shelter immediately by calling (951) 358-7387 and reference her applicable ID and also use his listing link to express interest. Here is her listing link: https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/RVSD3/A1923637 If you are interested just to foster, or foster to adopt, or if you need further help, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network asap as we are trying to find fosters we can then refer to a rescue group to save him in time. There is also a chance she could be fostered through the shelter if you are local, or we could pair you with a rescue group to assist with this as a foster if you are further away (but not too far from a willing rescue). If you are a rescue group and interested in pulling this beautiful girl, please email the shelter right away at: [email protected] and call (951) 358-7302.
