Adopt Rip 90 lbs Age unknown estimated to be 3-4yrs Male, neutered Bernese Mountain Dog Fence - no, but leash required to go out. Walks on leash but only when HE feels like it, not on your terms. Dublin, OH Rip is a lover boy. True to the males of the breed he is clingy and needy. Please read on the breed to understand them. He craves constant attention and prefers to be touching you all the time. He has a bit of separation anxiety at times too. Rip likes having his foster brother around, it helps calm his nervous breathing down a lot so another calm dog is a bonus for him. He seems praise constantly to ensure he's doing the right thing. He is working on crating at night and working on potty training still. He has not quite figured out treats or toys yet but is working on it slowly. He's only been here a short time so I'm sure we will see more of his personality in the coming weeks. I would suggest no small kids becuase he doesn't know his strength and would mistakenly knock them over; he is exceptionally strong. Rip will make a really good boy one day with love and training.
