About Rusty *urgent need

This handsome boy named Rusty has had a rough few years. His family who he loved dearly moved and dumped him at a high kill shelter in TN on November 2025. Rusty had been living with kids and multiple dogs and he was left abandoned. Rusty then went to a series of foster homes and we have been desperately looking for a great family for him. We believe Rusty will do best in a home where people can be home at least partially during the day. Rusty has been great with female dogs that we've paired him with, but not all male dogs. It might be best for him to be the only pet of not an experienced dog owner. We also recommend children over 10 years old. Rusty is 2 years old, 45 lbs, fully vaccinated and neutered. He doesn't need to be crated and he is house trained. Rusty is quiet in the house and loves to go on walks and day trips.
