Name: Brisby Age: Approx. 7 years Breed: Pitbull mix, 45 pounds Sex: Female (spayed) Location: Fulton County, Georgia Brisby would do best as an only dog, her blindness has made her more reactive to her dog sibling. Vet Info: Brisby is completely blind, she has nystagmus and cataracts. She is current with vaccinations and HW-. She is microchipped. Dog Info: Brisby is a sweet girl that sometimes reacts aggressively to her dog sister for no known reason but other times gets along wonderfully. She would probably do best as an only dog in the home. She also would do best without young children who can startle her with their actions. She is an indoor dog with the run of the house. She is housebroken and leash trained. Brisby knows the command, 'sit' as long as a treat is involved. She also knows 'come'. Brisby is an outgoing girl that is wonderful with men, women and teenagers. She often goes with her owners to restaurants, Home Depot and walks/hikes and does very well. They keep the interactions with other animals controlled. She loves having visitors to her home and generally adapts well to new people and places. Owners have two cats and she would snap at them when startled but now she has become accustomed to them and there have been no further incidents. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
