About Shy

Shy was my deceased brothers cat. Shy was adopted from the local shelter about 2 years ago. Shy was initially very shy and found places around the house to hide during most of the day. After a month of letting Shy get to know my brother, he became a very loving, affectionate companion to my brother. He showed how comfortable he had become when my brother entered hospice care at home and he continued to stay close to my brother and did not hide from the nurses and other new people in the house. He is a loving cat who comes for affection the minute you enter a room or the house. Contact information is complicated - Shy is continuing to stay in my brothers home in upper NE DC with my brothers renter. I am the contact person and I live in Arlington VA and am in the house in DC multiple times a week.
