Trixie is well behaved, know tricks and commands. She's affectionate and playful and loves being on the go or outside. Her new owner should be young enough to see her through to the end of her life, yet home enough to be a good companion. People have wanted to own Trixie to be a companion to their pet- but though she has favorite dog buddies, she cuddles with humans-not dogs. Trixie has bonded with me, 72 y/o grandma, but she is happiest and her best self with energetic men. Ideally, that man will have a fenced back yard, protect her from coyotes, like playing chase, keep away and tug of war. At the sam time Trixie needs groomed, brushed, eyes cleaned, , teeth cleaned and given anti-itch, kept up to date on vaccines, and gets her teeth cleaned. She has all the makings for a 'man and his dog' classic relationship. I hope that becomes her reality!
