About Boone

Handsome youngster Boone would love to find his forever family soon!�%A0 He'll be in the Philadelphia area in a couple of weeks, hopes one will be waiting for him.�%A0 Seven months, 12 pounds, mostly dachshund -- his mama a doxie, dad a mostly doxie mix -- he has a big personality, a love of adventure and a goofy side that keeps everyone laughing. He loves exploring outside, splashing in water, playing with toys, and enjoys running, playing with another dog his size or a little larger. He does well with cats. Boone knows how to sit on command and is highly food motivated. He is smart, eager to learn, and doing well with house training as long as he is taken outside promptly when he comes out of his crate. Boone is protective of his food in typical doxie fashion; eats his meals in his crate. Boone loves people, is very affectionate. A family with kids about 8 and over would be perfect for him.
