About Magnolia

Magnolia, also known as Mags or Maggie, is a joyful and energetic dog with a big personality packed into her 36-pound frame. At approximately 2 years old, she loves exploring, going for walks, carrying toys, inspecting sticks, and splashing through puddles. Magnolia came to the shelter with two puppies and did a wonderful job raising them. Her puppies have since found homes, and now Magnolia is ready for a family of her own. She is smart, athletic, and eager to stay active. Magnolia figured out the shelter's agility equipment on her first try and was happy to repeat the course several more times. She would be a great match for someone who enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, and including their dog in daily activities. Magnolia's enthusiastic play style may be overwhelming for some dogs, so she will need a meet-and-greet with any potential canine companion to make sure they are a good match. She cannot live with cats and will need a cat-free home. After she has had a chance to play and explore, Magnolia is happy to slow down, roll over for belly rubs, and relax with her people. She is looking for an active home that will appreciate her playful spirit, intelligence, and enthusiasm for life.
