* 4 year old female Terrier mix * appears dog friendly - per staff * not spayed yet but she will be * weighs 66 pounds * heartworm positive; it's easily treatable and not contagious * brought in as stray along with another dog * friendly and greets you at her kennel door * gives tail wags when you talk to her * she's been a momma dog in the past and now it's her turn to be loved and cared for * welcomes all pets and attention * walks great on leash * attentive and wants to please * takes treats gently * knows the sit command * loving, friendly, happy, well mannered * super good girl; just wants love Meet Katie our super sweet girl! Sadly, Katie's past hasn't been so great. She's been a momma to several litters of puppies and her life appeared to be an endless cycle of being a momma dog. Thankfully her past is behind her now and it's her turn to shine. Katie is full of tail wags, and affection. Her favorite place is where you are. If you are relaxing on the couch, or heading out for a walk, she'll happily go right along with you. She simply wants to be part of your life and to love and be loved in return.
