Dilly Dally is a very sweet girl who gets along with dogs and humans alike. She is a 10-year-old purebred Dalmatian as confirmed by genetic testing. She is current on all her shots and recently had extensive dental work to ensure she is happy and healthy for as long as possible. She is low-energy and is happiest when around her humans having a nap, but also loves to go for a walk and roll in the grass. She has never shown any signs of aggression towards dog or human, but it is unknown how she does around cats. She regularly goes to the dog park. She is allergic to chicken and has some mild acid reflux, but is otherwise healthy. Dilly was adopted from unknown circumstances about two years ago, and unfortunately has severe separation anxiety. Despite extensive professional training, and being on a maximum dose of Prozac, she remains unable to be left alone for longer than a few minutes without extensive barking and panicking. As such, Dilly will do best in a house with experienced dog-owners, or people who are able to be home with her most of the time. She does well in daycare and currently attends daycare about one day a week. She also has anxiety around rain, thunder, snow, and fireworks, though a thunder shirt does help with this. She is comfortable in her crate when other people are around. Dilly is a good girl who has a lot of love to give, and though she is very loved in her current home, she needs a new home with people who are able to better handle her anxiety. We are happy to provide her crate, toys, and any remaining food to whoever provides her with a new home. We can also provide contact information for her current vet and trainer. We are happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for considering Dilly Dally as your future best friend!
