About Retro

Retro is a friendly, outgoing dog who is always ready to be included in the fun. At around 5 years old, he enjoys car rides, toys, treats, and spending time with people. Whether he is heading out for an adventure or relaxing nearby, Retro is happiest when he can be part of what is going on. He walks beautifully on a leash, knows how to sit, and takes treats gently. Retro has done well meeting other dogs, although he can sometimes become overly excited and a little too enthusiastic during introductions. A calm, supervised introduction would be best when meeting a potential canine companion. He cannot live with cats and will need a cat-free home. Retro is neutered and heartworm negative. He has been waiting for a home since February and is currently the shelter's longest-waiting dog. With his cheerful personality and good manners, Retro is ready to become a much-loved part of someone's family.
