About Bex

(Fee only if I find compatible family and have to travel) Hello, this is Bex. He was born on 12/15/2020. Purebred, I used to have his AKC papers, but since have been lost in previous moves. I got him from Heavenly Corgi's, a little out of New Orleans area, while they were still in business. Bex is a lively, yet adaptable boy full of personality. We've had a good life together, but things are changing in my life, and he isn't a great fit in it anymore. It breaks my heart I even have to consider rehoming him, but I believe it's the best course of action for him and myself. I want to give him a better life; circumstances prove difficult to provide that for him. I want him to go to the best, most loving home he deserves. History: No hiding anything, if you don't like it, carry on. All love here!�'�|.. He has never had behavioral training, and can be dominant. Barking is moderate and has triggers, such as strangers, shadows outside, company (this has been easily corrected with buzz setting on shock collar in the past, my remote for it got lost. Without it, he can be a little much sometimes, but eases up after a little while.) He has a bite history, and has bit me a couple times. Every bite has been in association with resource guarding food such as me retrieving something that dropped into his reach, and me attempting to take it away. I have learned my lesson since, and always approach him with that fear in mind. We have not had any issues in over a year, and trying to keep it that way. He would greatly benefit from training. He is too smart for his own good. He is not around other dogs often, besides on walks. He does not like male dogs (that's where a lot of his dominance comes in.) Gets along fine with females.
