About Clyde

Clyde is a happy, playful pup has practically grown up at the shelter alongside his brother, Blinky. They arrived on May 5, and now more than 5 moths later, Clyde is still waiting for his chance to experience all the fun of being a puppy in a home of his own! Clyde is an energetic little entertainer who believes the world is one big playground. Toys? Yes! A pool? Absolutely! Running around the yard and making up his own games? Even better! He loves both toys and treats, making them great ways to keep him engaged as he learns new things. He hasn't picked up any tricks just yet, but he's got plenty of puppy potential! Clyde has done well with other dogs in our shelter playgroups, where he gets to play and be the goofy puppy he is. He's always excited to meet new friends - be they people or other dogs. He's still learning that not everything is a toy (including rocks, leaves, and bandanas!), but that just shows that he's willing and ready to make the most of anything. He doesn't need much to have a good time! For all his playful energy, Clyde has a sweet side, too. He happily accepts pets and will stand patiently for as long as you're willing to give them. Clyde has spent far too much of his puppyhood in a shelter. He's ready for a family who will let him run, give him plenty of toys to enjoy, and the time and patience to help him grow into the wonderful dog he's meant to be. Could you be the one to finally give this boy the home he's been dreaming of?
