Blinky was once your typical happy go lucky pup, enjoying playing with a wagging tail and a carefree attitude. But after spending about three months in the shelter, something suddenly changed - Blinky began having trouble using his back legs. He would scoot around rather than use his back legs, and needed help to stand. Our medical team is working to figure out exactly what's going on. He's been started on pain medication and has already shown some small improvements! For now, Blinky still mostly scoots himself around, but for longest distances he occasionally stands and takes a few steps using all four legs! Through it all, Blinky has remained the same sweet and friendly puppie we've always known. He loves being pet, happily accepts treats, and will chase after a toy when you throw it - even if he's not interested in picking it up or playing with it. He also knows how to sit on command'|most of the time at least! Despite the recent bump in the road, Blinky is still such a sweet boy, and so deserving of a loving home. He just needs patience and a little extra TLC. Could you be the person who helps Blinky through this next chapter?
