About Achilles

Achilles appears to be a Whippier, a dog who is primarily a blend of Whippet and American Street Terrier. He was surrendered to our rescue when his owner couldn't take care of him anymore. He's around 2 years old and 55 pounds. Achilles is a young, active boy who loves to play. The trainer and volunteers here have been helping him with some manners training. Due to his energy level, it would be great if he could be adopted by someone who is outdoorsy and active, someone who would continue to work with him on basic obedience training. Achilles would love to go on adventures together! He might be open to a dog sibling? Of course, we would have to do a meet and greet first to see if they are compatible. He isn't a fan of cats. His $150 adoption fee helps cover the full veterinary package: neuter, microchip, vaccines, heartworm test, deworming and preventatives while in our care.
