About Mia and Jordan

Adoption Fee: $300
Domestic Cat
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Momma Mia (who now prefers to go by just Mia - 'Like Beyonce, Madonna, or Zendaya' she says) and Jordan are beautiful, healthy, and sweet, best friend female cats looking for a loving guardian together. Both Mia and Jordan were found living outside and had at least one litter of kittens each. All their adorable kittens found homes, but these ladies are still waiting! Mia is a six-year-old gray and white kitty with a distinctive 'stache. She came to Friends of Petraits first and has been queen of the foster room since. She was hesitant upon the arrival of Jordan, an orange and white two year old tabby, but they have become a surprisingly close pair that bring out the best in each other. They groom each other, play and chase each other, and dine together. Mia is outgoing and not afraid to talk with you all about her day. Jordan is more shy but will give you some googly eyes when the food comes out. Mia enjoys pets, playing, and most of all: just plain old-fashioned attention. In bed, she likes to sleep on top of you if you'll let her. She also pushes Jordan out of her shell and makes her feel safer. Jordan loves snuggling up in any new snug hiding spot and, of course, wet food. They are well-behaved in the home and great with their litter box habits. These two will never turn down a nap - but don't worry, they don't hog the covers. They are very extremely healthy, dewormed, de-flead, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, microchipped, and virus-tested negative. Mia had stomatitis, and all her teeth were removed except her canines. But, that does not spoil her appetite! To meet and possibly adopt Mia and Jordan, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet them. Their adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits and includes a nice selection of their favorite canned foods. They are being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
