About Flynn

Meet Flynn ��%BD��%BD%90%BE Flynn is a 3-year-old neutered, AKC-registered Saint Bernard looking for a new home. Due to an upcoming move, we will no longer be able to accommodate his size, and we want to find him a home where he can continue to be a loved member of the family. Flynn is not suited to being an outdoor-only dog and deserves a home where he can be part of everyday life. Flynn is protective and reserved around strangers at first, but once he gets to know you, he is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and loving. He enjoys lounging around the house, getting plenty of pets, playing in the hose, and involving himself in whatever is going on around him. He has a goofy personality and loves spending time with his people. Flynn can be selective with other dogs. His typical introduction style is to bark directly in another dog's face, which some dogs do not appreciate. Any introductions should be done carefully and with proper supervision. In the interest of full transparency, because of his history and temperament, Flynn needs an experienced large-breed owner. He is not my first dog, I am not his first owner, and he is not a dog I would recommend for a first-time owner. Flynn has shown defensive behaviors when he feels cornered, pressured, or threatened. He has snapped and bitten on multiple occasions, though these incidents have not resulted in broken skin. He is not a dog that reacts without warning, but he does need someone who understands canine body language, respects his boundaries, and can recognize when he is becoming uncomfortable. Flynn's ideal home would be with someone who is patient, confident, and willing to continue working with him while providing the structure and consistency he needs to thrive. Due to his size and behavioral history, a home without young children is preferred. This is a difficult decision, and our priority is finding the right home-not just the first home. He's my sweet baby boy and Flynn has a lot of love to give and will be a wonderful companion for the right person. A rehoming fee applies to ensure Flynn goes to a committed and suitable home.
