About Boomer

Boomer is full of energy! He loves long walks, does great on a leash, enjoys playing fetch/catch, and food related puzzles are his favorite. He typically uses a high pitch bark to let you know he needs or wants something (water, pets, an activity, etc.), sits by the door to let you know he has to go potty, and absolutely loves laying on you for snuggles. Boomer is house trained, crate trained, and learns new skills with ease. He will need a fenced backyard and an active family. He is good with adults, but is nervous and takes some time to warm up to strangers. My family has a baby on the way, and while we love this dog so much, we will not be able to dedicate the time and patience he needs when the baby gets here. We do not require an adoption fee, but would ask you consider a donation to any local pet rescue. We are looking for people familiar with his breed and are willing to meet his activity needs. We will provide his crate, balls, lick mat, and bag of food upon adoption.
