About Mindy

Mindy is a beautiful Shar-Pei mix who is the perfect medium size. She has the sweetest heart and so much energy and excitement for life! Sadly, Mindy's life before rescue was not what she deserved. She was used for breeding and then dumped in horrible condition when she was no longer wanted. Despite what humans put her through, Mindy has not let her past take away her happiness or her love for people. Mindy is sadly heartworm positive, but that is not a death sentence for her. Thankfully, it was caught early and she is already undergoing treatment. Her future family can continue helping her by keeping her on monthly heartworm prevention as recommended. She is around 2 years old and is now spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is ready to leave her past behind and find the family she has always deserved. We are still learning more about Mindy every day, but so far she appears to be dog friendly. She is a happy girl who is ready for a second chance at a life full of love.
