Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Belle since she was weaned from a breeder. UTD on shots WITHOUT record. NOT Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs. Currently lives with an older GSD who is also needing rehomed. Unknown with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained. Belle Free Rpams the home with good behavior. Any known medical issues?: None known. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: None disclosed. ENERGY LEVEL: Medium. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: Low. Weighs 55 lbs. Currently on a homemade blend diet. Bite History?: None disclosed. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'This dog is only being rehomed due to her owner having a stroke which rendered her unable to keep Belle. Belle is greatly loved and cared for her whole stay with my mother, Kim. She lived a truly wonderful life where she roamed outside, had gourmet meals, and had her own clean bed to come to every evening/night. She is a wonderful companion who never left mom's side. Mom describes her 'easy going and low maintenance'.' Re Homing because�'�|: Belle's Current Shepherd Parent suffered a stroke on June 3rd and is now living with her daughter. The daughter's son is highly allergic to dogs and absolutely cannot have dogs in the home. Belle is currently still living in her home without her person and is grieving terribly. She is refusing to eat, losing weight, losing hair, and showing signs of severe depression and stress from suddenly losing the person she loves most. This is an EMERGENCY situation, and Belle desperately needs a loving Furever Home where she can heal, feel safe again, and begin thriving. Belle will be a great companion for the right person.
