4 year old female Siberian husky %BD%BD%90%BDDesexed %BD%BD%90%BDno health issues %BD%BD%90%BDGreat with other dogs %BD%BD%90%BDA little nervous around some people. %BD%BD%90%BDGreat with kids %BD' we absolutely do not want to give her up but due to illness in the family we are not able to provide the best life for her. %BD'She is fabulous in the home and car. Incredibly patient. %BD'She is quiet.. barely hear a murmur from her. %BD'She needs someone with experience with huskies. %BD' secure garden, fully fenced with tall fence needed. She is an absolute Houdini dog and is able to open many doors and leap smaller fences. %BD'She is currently on a top-end grain free diet. Happy to provide same for transition period. %BD'She is very prey focused. Untried on cats but we have walked past them in the street ok. %BD'She is very good on her lead. Non-reactive to dogs.. may occasionally want to play with them. She will however lunge for birds if you haven't commanded her attention first. Don't even get me started on possums! %BD'currently she has an hour walk each morning and about 40 minutes in the afternoon, frequently additional walks as well. %BD' She is a companion dog and we have not left her home alone. %BD'We do not let her off lead in the park. %BD'She is a shelter rescue dog and was very nervous when we first took her in. She has socialised well and manages busy street walks, cafes, pubs etc but will shy away from some people, particularly new visitors to the home. I think we have almost gotten through this, so need a patient (non-shouting) person to continue to help her build confidence. We are committed to finding her a safe, secure, and experienced home where she can thrive, as due to family illness she is not getting the attention she deserves. Location: Blue Mountains, NSW
