About Gaston & Waffles

I am reaching out in hopes of finding a loving home for my two cats, Gaston and Waffles. This is not a decision I ever imagined having to make, and I have spent weeks trying to find another solution. Unfortunately, my mother has become seriously ill, and I am emergently relocating from New York to Oregon to live with her and help care for her. Because I will be living in her home, I cannot bring Gaston and Waffles with me. My mom is severely allergic to cats, and with her health being what it is, having them in the home simply isn't possible. If there had been any way to make this work, I would have found it because I've been trying everything. This decision has been heartbreaking, but right now my responsibility is to be there for my mom while also making sure Gaston and Waffles find the loving home they deserve. Gaston is a rescue I adopted several years ago after he was removed from a hoarding situation. Waffles came into my life unexpectedly as a kitten, but the two bonded almost immediately. They are inseparable, and because of that, I am committed to keeping them together. Both cats are fixed, healthy,, chipped, fully litter trained, and exceptionally well-behaved. They are affectionate, gentle, and incredibly mellow. They love attention, enjoy playing, and spend most of their time lounging nearby or curled up for a nap. They have never been destructive, do not scratch furniture, and have been indoor cats their entire lives. I will happily provide everything they need, including their Litter-Robot, toys, supplies, and anything else that will help make their transition easier. My focus is not finding them a home quickly - it is finding them the right home.
