About Rusty

Rusty was left behind by his owner and the neighbor fed him for several months until she also had to move. We took him into Rescue and got his vaccines and got him neutered. However we are having trouble keeping him contained. He can scale a 6 foot chain-link fence and therefore requires a 6 to 8 foot wooden fence. He has also busted out of airport style and wire style crates. He loves to be outside and right now he's an inside outside Dog, but because I'm unable to contain him and live near a busy street, he will be euthanized soon. We are looking for an appropriate home that can contain him. He is very dog friendly. he hasn't bothered the cats out front when he has escaped the yard. We are in Amarillo, Texas in an approved. The doctor must pick up although we will try our best to help with transport if from out of town.
