About Franklin

Before you read my story, I need you to know something. My name is Franklin (A286893), and I have a time-sensitive deadline of Friday, June 26 at 4:00 PM. I don't know what a deadline is... I just know that my time is running out, and I'm hoping with everything I have that someone chooses me before it's too late. Hi, I'm Franklin. I a 5 year old neutered Am Staff mix, and I love toys, splashing in the water, and getting the happiest zoomies you've ever seen. When I'm outside, it's easy to forget I'm living in a shelter... even if it's only for a little while. A few months ago, I got to live in a foster home for five wonderful months. I remembered what it felt like to belong. I had a warm bed, kind people, and a place where I felt safe. Now that I'm back at the shelter, I've been trying so hard to be brave, but shelter life has taken a toll on me. The loud noises, the loneliness, and spending day after day in a kennel have been really hard. My friends here say I've been struggling since I returned, and they're worried because they know this isn't the real me. The real me is the goofy boy splashing in the kiddie pool. The one racing around with joyful zoomies. The one who leans into your hand for pets and just wants to be loved. I know my forever family is out there somewhere. I just need them to find me before Friday, June 26 at 4:00 PM. Please don't let my story end here. If you can't take me home, sharing my story could help the person who can find me in time.
